Karachi: Closely behind is the economic heart of Pakistan. Security has improved in the mega-city and real estate development is again on the rise. Despite the high inequality, on average, Karachiites enjoy high living standards with the HDI of 0.802.
Abbottabad: The city enjoys good living standards with a HDI of 0.763. It has a very high literacy rate and boasts excellent commercial and educational facilities.
Sahiwal: The moderate sized city of Sahiwal enjoys moderately high living standards with the HDI standing at 0.701. The city is covered by large swathes of greenery and forests.
