There is a sharp division in the status of women in Pakistan. While some women have the luxuries and opportunities to advance and excel in every field of life, the majority suffers silently in the hands of discrimination and society.

Though not long ago women’s progress in Pakistan was only a myth, times have started to change. Today women have teamed up and started speaking for each other. Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, Malala Yousufzai, Muniba Mazari, Masarrat Misbah, Bilquis Edhi and other women of courage have come forward to work towards women’s rights and empowerment.
